Brighton. So much to do and see.
Music, gigs, theatres, restaurants, galleries etc etc. Nice friendly pubs.
I never feel lonely or out of place being on my own in Brighton.
portmerion,north wales
Torquay is a nice place to visit
Cardiff. Good transport links from anywhere. Lots of culture in terms concert halls and theatres. Great shopping, the renovated Cardiff Bay full of bars and restautrant. Superb nightlife. The National Museum of Wales which includes the Welsh Folk Museum at St, Fagans ust outside Cardiff. This houses many rebuilt buildings (stone by stone) from around Wales.
Easy public transport to the Brecon Beacons National Park where the walking is first class. Hope this helps.
Killarney,
Its a great town,
You can get there by train so quite easy to access.
The Outer Hebrides is a very friendly part of the country. The main town is Stornoway, where there is ample hotels, B B’s to stay, there is lots of pubs, there is an arts centre, a sports centre and the scenery is breathtaking. You can get there by plane or ferry from Ullapool. The planes to Stornoway are from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness. Try it out and see for yourself check one of many websites offering deals .
Galway – great music, bars, food, shopping. Bus trips to Connemara and Clare. Boat trip to the Aran Islands. Lots to do and see.
