It’s hard when you only have a 1st name to go by.
I could track him down with a full name.
Try contacting the post office, see if they can contact him from their records. They will be able to give him your contact information, and hopefully he will get in touch with you. Hope it works out.
Or perhaps just send him a letter. send it to: Des the postman; Dublin. bet he gets it!
I totally feel your pain – i still get misty eyed when i think about the policeman who helped me when i was lost – i was 6 years old and my mother has on the other side of the shop – i felt like my world had stopped…but he stepped over and guided me back into her loving arms…….It was a life changing moment…..I have always felt very emotional when i see a very tall well built policeman ….. I still go back to the same shop each year on the anniversary – it sounds silly but it does make me feel somewhat closer to him – does that make me wierd?….. goodluck in your search.

Get your self lost in the city again and reach the place you met him. I am sure you will find him there – helping other girls
